Fabric Care:Les Indiennes block printed products are made entirely by hand, with natural, ayurvedic dyes, and without the use of mechanical devices or electricity. The production of our cottons is exactly the same as it was during the time of the East India Trading Companies.
It is 100% natural cotton, and an organic product, made in the ancient kalamkari tradition. Due to this fact, no piece is identical and there will always be reminders of the fact that it was made by man, not machines. Small spots and imperfections, as well as slight fading with each wash are part of its charm, and are to be expected. You should be proud to own anything made by Les Indiennes because you have an original piece of art, and you are helping the families in a small village in South India maintain their craft and livelihood.
Care Instructions:
-Treat Les Indiennes with gentleness.
-Wash separately, in cool water, with a gentle detergent on delicate cycle.
-You may machine dry on low air, or hang dry.
-Iron as usual, medium temp.
-Do not dry clean.
